The University of Nevada, Reno – Business & Finance Office is seeking candidates for a full-time administrative faculty position as a Project Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP). This position is responsible for leading functional and cross-functional enterprise resource system changes and enhancements for the system. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for leading implementations and integrations of other systems being implemented to enhance the functionality of the ERP. The incumbent will evaluate weekly updates and semi-annual releases from Workday to evaluate for new functionality and impact on business processes, coordinate system testing, and implementation of released changes. While directly serving the University of Nevada, Reno, the incumbent will collaborate and coordinate efforts with System Computing Services (SCS) when recommendations impact all campuses of the Nevada System of Higher Education, such as process configuration changes. The Project Manager will develop project plans and documentation, manage activities between functional users, and coordinate communications between key constituents.
Requires a High School Diploma and seven years; or Bachelor’s Degree and five years; or Master’s Degree and three years of related professional work experience of system administration and project management. Will have occasional travel and occasional variable work schedule.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
