Facilitates Oncology Information System implementations and upgrades, working with both internal and external customers. Coordinates all aspects of project implementation for a client, from initiation to acceptance. Implementations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, system integration, or consulting projects/engagements. Required to work at client site from time to time. Typically involves extensive interaction with sales and other members of cross-functional teams. Projects are typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) adoption. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is required. PMs manage schedules and aligns forecasts to meet business needs.
This is a remote based position and candidates can live anywhere in the US with proximity to a major airport.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Relevant experience in Project Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong customer service acumen.
Must have a general knowledge of network infrastructure and design, client/server architecture, Cloud-based hosting, and software implementation process.
Knowledge of the use and deployment of software in a healthcare environment, especially as applied to Oncology.
Other Desired Skills and Knowledge
PMP certification is desired.
Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: Microsoft Project, SharePoint, OneNote, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
