We are hiring for the following positions:
Senior Program Managers Full-Time, regular positions available in Chicago, Illinois
The professionals we select will manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide programs consisting of multiple projects. These individuals will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of a complex program, including management of costs/budget, schedule and dependencies, resources, scope, quality and risk. Developing the program strategy, these strong communicators will support business case and enterprise-wide high-level project plans, provide a strong combination of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development, and implementation of strategic programs, and enable targeted probing of delivery feasibility. Responsibilities include ensuring integration of program and corresponding sub-projects, driving deliverables and activities with PDL and IT product managers, tracking program milestones, and recommending adjustments.
Bachelor's degree and six or more years of health care industry and/or IT work experience OR 7-10 or more years managing projects and some experience managing complex programs.
Leadership experience within multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
Experience developing and reviewing program/project budgets and cost/expense information; delivering action plans to allocate resources across programs; negotiating and managing conflict; organizational / political savvy.
A deep understanding of common software delivery models OWF, Scrum, and XP.
Working knowledge of Clarity PPM system and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Project.
Solution delivery methodology or CMMI experience.
Senior Project Manager Full-Time, Regular Opportunity in Chicago, Illinois
Demonstrating considerable agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities while meeting deadlines, this professional will lead large, complex projects or a program encompassing several sub-projects. This individual will ensure that the project scope is aligned with stated business objectives, set and manage customer expectations, manage escalating issues and changes, and develop/maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Bachelor's degree and four or more years of health care industry and/or IT experience OR five or more years of project-management experience.
A thorough understanding of systems development life cycle, as well as project-management and enterprise processes.
A strong combination of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development and implementation of strategic projects/programs with a consistent focus on the demonstration of business value.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Working knowledge of Clarity PPM system.
A solid understanding of various delivery methodologies, including XP, Agile, and Waterfall.
