Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to add to our Engineering Services group. In this position, you will play a key role with the transitional activities relating to the transfer of several dams from the Federal Government over the next few years. You will implement an integrated project plan, risk plan, status reports, resource plan, and contingency plan for our infrastructure projects starting with the Federal Dam Transfer Project. You will be responsible for performing and coordinating needed tasks, ranging from tactical to strategic, working closely with internal work units, stakeholders, and multiple levels of government. You will have the opportunity to participate in creating structure and assembling a team of individuals to support the integration of the Federal Dam Transfer while managing costs and budgets, including capital, equipment and office needs.
This is a senior management position and you will require a command of applicable theory and principles in change management, project management, work planning and data management. Fostering cooperation and relationships with other agencies and individuals is critical as you will be guiding and coordinating functions organization-wide with a significant impact.
You will provide direction and leadership to employees and work among a diverse and passionate team of professionals, both internal and external to WSA, in the fields of engineering, water quality, ecology, law, sociology, public policy, local governments that are leading this exciting challenge in our province.
The successful candidate will possess a degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Science or Engineering with 10 years of progressively more responsibility and directly related experience. Preferably including experience in Water Management and a designation as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Additional Salary Information: Salary range is $8,063 - $10,079 per month
