Create and present project presentations for effective communication to all project stakeholders

Document and distribute project meeting with effective meeting minutes
Use established Change Management tools to validate and communicate project scope and schedule changes
Responsible to report and escalate issues and changes to management as necessary

Conduct a project close-out process for all project completions
Project Management for Bostik Americas Consumer & Construction Business Unit strategic project implementations
Ensure that projects meet or exceed all corporate expectations, guidelines, and procedural criteria
Responsible to coordinate and manage projects up to $10 million or more
Responsible to coordinate and manage from 1 to 3 large capital projects concurrently
Work with cross-functional project teams made up of internal and external resources
Maintains project relationship with any third party contractors and vendors
Schedule and facilitate all project team meetings for the most effective project outcome
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Responsible to report project activity to project stakeholders and Steering Committees
Travel as necessary and appropriate to Bostik Americas facilities to facilitate project outcomes
Context and Environment:
The position is based in Wauwatosa and involves travel to the various Bostik Americas facilities or conducting on-line meetings with project team and steering committees with the intent of facilitating the capital projects process during various stages of approval and execution. The focus of this position will be executing several major and multi-year projects to transform the Consumer & Construction Business Unit industrial footprint.
The Strategic Project Manager is held accountable for the good and successful execution of the projects (s)he manages,and more specifically in terms of safety, cost and deadlines.
This includes notably the following elements:
Manage relationships with internal and external project team members
Involvement in obtaining all needed permitting for project implementation
Leadership on project team and accountable of having adequate resources to meet project objectives
Focal point of communications toward top management, the project team and others; more specifically(s)he quickly raise warnings toward top management in case of drift of project
Validates the project’s execution plan submitted by engineering office
Leads project committee, set meetings for needed approvals or decisions; writing and distribution of meeting minutes
Participates in the Project Steerco and is accountable for quality of data presented
Reports to Project Sponsor (head of regional business)
Education: B.S. degree required, preferably in Engineering or relevant technical equivalent with industrial project experience.
Project Manager will have a PMP certification and minimum 3 years of project management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong personal computer skills, MS Office and Microsoft Project or equivalent
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills / abilities
Have successfully managed at least one EPCM / EPC project greater than $1 million
