The City of Stockton’s Information Technology (IT) Department is recruiting for ambitious and enthusiastic candidates with proven track records for Program Manager III positions. IT is seeking to fill Four (4) Program Manager III positions to support the City’s critical business objectives. The ideal candidate’s primary responsibility is to plan and manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project activities as they relate to business objectives and operations within Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, Budget, Timekeeping, and/or Payroll functions. He or she will play a key role in documenting detailed business requirements, identifying opportunities for business process improvement, and determining evaluation and selection criteria for the proposed ERP solution. This position will also support such pivotal implementation activities as ERP customization, business change management, acceptance testing, training, and data conversion.
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business or public administration or a closely related field, or the field of the program to which assigned, and four (4) years of experience managing or supervising highly visible programs or projects with major departmental or citywide impact.
